Mysterious Bloom

Salutations fellow plant dorks.

You claim nothing is blooming now except the boring asters.  I say fiddlesticks and poppycock.  See if you can identify this purple beauty I found growing right beside the asphalt wheelchair trail at Old Baldwin.

    Only place I’ve seen it is on the Ocean’s Edge Trail near Emma Wood Beach in Ventura. Nice find!
