Wills & Rice Canyon Loop

For the first time since last summer I think I’ve got enough pictures to justify a whole post.  Last month I brightened your life with a brief review of the Ventura River Preserve trails, half of them at least (part two coming soon I promise).  Some of you (could have been the voices in my head again) asked for some more detail.  You ask, and occasionally if I’m in a sporting mood, you receive.  We are starting at the Oso (northernmost) parking lot.  We are doing a counterclockwise loop.  The air is crisp and filled with anticipation (and horse manure, I think an entire cavalry came through here this weekend), and Luke and I are raring to go.
